RDC XII or the Regional Development Council in Region XII
held its annual RDC Week celebration on September 27, 28 and 29, 2011 in
Koronadal City, Philippines. This event was participated in by members of
the Council: the heads and staffs of various government agencies and local government
units, as well as the private sector representatives. The celebration was
comprised of a motorcade, tree planting, opening ceremony with executive games,
friendship games, peoples day (employment, medical, legal services and driving
seminar) and closing/cultural/awarding ceremony, all centered on
the theme: “Kilos Abante Rehiyon Dose: Tao, Sentro ng Plano”.

The RDC Week celebration kicked –off with a motorcade.
Contingents from four major sectoral committees (InfraCom, EDC, MEDAFC
and RSDC) of the RDC converged at the back of South Cotabato Sports
Complex. At around 7am, riding on their respective government vehicles,
participants lined up and proceeded for a motorcade from the Sports Complex
going east on the national highway toward the treeplanting site at Sitio
Dungan-Lahek, Koronadal City. . .
