RDC XII or the Regional Development Council in Region XII
held its annual RDC Week celebration on September 27, 28 and 29, 2011 in
Koronadal City, Philippines. This event was participated in by members of
the Council: the heads and staffs of various government agencies and local
government units, as well as the private sector representatives. The
celebration was comprised of a motorcade, tree planting, opening ceremony with
executive games, friendship games, peoples day (employment, medical, legal
services and driving seminar) and closing/cultural/awarding ceremony, all
centered on the theme: “Kilos Abante Rehiyon Dose: Tao, Sentro ng
Plano”.

Highlight of this year’s RDC Week celebration was the
conduct of a People’s Day on September 28 at the Lobby of Koronadal City
Hall. Free services were made available for the public, extending
one-stop medical , dental, legal and employment services; driving seminar was
also conducted, as well as consultation on land titling. A major part of
the ceremony was the launching of the SOCCSKSARGEN Regional Development Plan
2011 – 2016, a development direction blueprint for Region XII in the next 5
